Garlic Ramen with Sweet Basil Chili Paste


Vegan MoFo: It's that time of year again! If you don't know what's up, allow me to give you a brief overview: short for the Vegan Month of Food, Vegan MoFo is an annual blogging event about all things vegan. Participants are given daily prompts and then post about it. There is this great little Asian market right next to my house. They have a bunch of really cool stuff that totally fits in my food budget. Right now, my fave product is this Chilli Paste with Sweet Basil Leaves. It's fermented and it's the perfect flavor profile for me: super sweet and also really effing spicy. I put it on just about everything. Like this super easy Garlic Ramen for 2.




Garlic Ramen with Sweet Basil Chili Paste

2 packages of Ramen, cooked without seasoning
2 tsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves, Minced
2 tablespoon of Braggs Liquid Aminos
1 teaspoon coconut sugar
2 teaspoons Sriracha

  1. Heat your oil in a small pan and add in your garlic. Cook for 2 minutes and stir, stir, stir!
  2. Once your garlic is golden brown, but not burnt, remove the pan from the heat and whisk in the Braggs, coconut sugar, and sriracha.
  3. Toss the noodles with the sauce.
  4. Garnish with green onions and this awesome Sweet Basil Chili if you dare.
