Cashew Cream Sauce

My cashew cream sauce owns the vegan kitchen! It's got an amazing flavor, it's versatile, super easy to make and its inexpensive. Even my non-vegan friends LOVE this stuff!

What you need:
1/2 cup of cashews
1/2 cup of veggie broth (or water if you want it raw)
1-2 cloves of garlic

What you do:
Throw all ingredients in a blender.

Easy, no?

I love this sauce as the base for my pizzas or any other dishes that call for any creamy sauces. Tonight I used it as my gravy on some frozen butternut squash raviolis. I didn't actually realize these were vegan until a non-vegan friend of mine, whom I was visiting, pointed out the cool (but not very noticeable) "certified vegan" sticker on the package.

This is great!" I thought, "especially for the times I don't have time to cook". I immediately said to her, "I have the best sauce for this!"
